MBII P4 – Community reaches the bottom

My experience with MB2 started in b15, so quite a few years ago. Despite having many breaks, I -more or less- played all next Betas up to now, and therefore I met all kind of people who play/ed this mod.

In b15-b18 it was quite good. There were some annoying egodumb players like M00, but other than that, it was ‘peaceful era of CC’ that every old-betas player misses. Then came very-end of b18, that’s when all hell broke loose, it was the beginning of DotF-only servers, stereotypical behaviour, nation-focused servers, BUUUNCH of bad clans, hacks.

What has changed since b18? Even more hacks, even worse sabersystem, more stereotypical people, still increasing numbers of goawai clans, and bunch of good people leaving the game behind because of the factors above. Current community can be described in
a few examples:

- Assholes – People who you feel like shooting IRL if they were just close, who join the game to annoy others. They just can’t wait for someone to shoot them so they can start their word-war, which includes repeated words ‘mother’ , ‘fuck’, ‘suck’ and synonyms. They tend to TK for fun, spam dumb and offensive binds. Mostly they’re random players as it’s not hard to get ban for them, it’s rare to meet Assholes clans as they die out as fast as they’re created.

- Douchebags - RC3:P4 is just full of them. Remember pushing a nade as a Jedi, to save 5 teammates, killing ET in front of you, then you say sorry, and that guy not only punishes you, but also goes nuts and insults you to the end of the world? That’s a douche. They’re not as extreme as Assholes, yet they’re so simple/weak-minded that anything done to them results in an argument, TK party. They ‘want peace’ but they’re the ones who always break it to shit.

- Infinite Ego Players
(a.k.a WhatDoesTheScouterSayAboutHisEgoLevel?ITSOVER9K!) – These are just ridiculous. Whenever you kill them, they try to find a reason for their defeat. They just can’t stay quiet after they die, therefore having to say the magic word (e.g Noob, Luck, Laggy) or type /q in the console, or otherwise – as they think – their heads will blow up. Usually they drop the hammer of blame on their teams, in some cases – on players with negative score, as according to Infinite Ego Player – Score shows how awesome you are.(e.g |+|Nerevar)

- Ego Players – Not that dumb as above, yet they’re overconfident and keep blaming others. There are quite few of them, they’re kind who will try playing 3v10 just so they can call everyone noob if they win. These are likely to cheat.

- Overly-mature Players – These are sometimes just annyoing and sometimes friendly carebears. First kind usually insults people who they consider childish, and of course, that means calling polaks KIDS and telling them politely to die. They stick to grammar, as if their lifes depended on it and never rage. Somehow it looks like they’re trying to influence people rather than play. Other kind, simply being mature, wants to show others how mature they are so that they can feel.. Uh.. Envy?

- Engrish People From All Over the World - Mostly Cz/Sk/Swede/Polaks who just CAN’T speak english. Some of them never try and speak whatever they can and others TRY and obviously, never actually speak it even though they think they are.(‘I kill him and I death wtf’). Most of them are noobs, who start their PC experience with MB2 (GOD WHY?! WHY!)

- Hackers – … People who cheat in JK2 and then look on forums solutions how to defeat desann. Geniuses of some kind.

- Polacks – Engrish ‘polak’ – childish polaks who spam binds like BWASHSHAHAHHA and talk in polish on every possible server.

- Killhungry Whiners – They are always hungry, therefore never satisfied with their score, and as they’re never satisfied, they always whine. It’s easy to recognise these – just look for someone saying ‘Jedi noobs help omg’ and then when you do, they shoot the enemies right through your back. Of course, they say nothing unless they kill, then Killhungry Whiner says ‘omg sry’ to avoid misunderstanding that he’s hungry, because he obviously isn’t. They always seek teamplay, never noticing that they destroy it. Try DotF main corridor with those supporting you. Surely you won’t reach the end of that corridor, BUT you might actually win!

- Shannies - Cool people who don’t care, are both good and nice and lovely and… Kidding, just anyone who’s not from above – you should be proud. O:

That’s it, Most stereotypes have been listed here, isn’t community quite sad? Oh yes it is.
